Here is my response to the fabrication reading: "After reading the article and then listening to the class discussion, I feel as though the computer / fabrication world are universal.  That anybody with a desire to create something personal, can indeed produce it.  Kelly and those girls proved that you can be the 100 level and still be able to work your way through the steps to create a circuit board of any sorts.  It is a universal way of communication.  People in all different disciplines can work a computer and can understand that technical aspects needed to work the many components of a computer.  Whether that computer is a laptop, cell phone, printer, car, etc.  It is very interesting to see how this topic bring people from al different backgrounds together in a discussion."

To further that, in class people were discussing how the fabrication might in the future make in to the hands of each individual and possibly even accessible in the house.  I don't know how I feel about that.  It reminds me of the conversation we had about whether hand written letters and physical books will ever completely become obsolete.  It's a tough question of the future.
